EV Chargers in Stanthorpe

Electric car owners will now be welcome in Stanthorpe with the first publicly accessible fast chargers currently being installed in Stanthorpe. The chargers are being delivered by the Qld Government, forming part of the Queensland Electric Super Highway (QESH).

The chargers are located in the south west corner of the Rogers Street car park. There are four chargers, with different speeds, including fast chargers.

The chargers will mean that tourists can now visit and stay in the Granite Belt because they can charge while here. Passing tourists will also now be able to stop and shop in Stanthorpe while they charge.

The chargers are user pay, via the ChargeFox service. The chargers will also be visible on Plugshare, an international EV changing network resource, so that EV users can find them.

The four EV chargers are in the Rogers Street Car Park, between Rogers Street and Creek Street.
